Thank you for taking time to visit our website and to learn more about who we are and why we are different than the other 450 churches in Lynchburg, VA. We have a heart for what we describe as those that are “overchurched” and “overlooked”.
Overchurched are those that have could have been burnt out or hurt by churches,. Maybe you are tired of religion, or maybe you simply want nothing to do with church anymore.
Overlooked are those that maybe have made mistakes, or society as cast you aside. Maybe you have never been valued or accepted, or maybe you just don’t fit it.
If you have been over-churched or overlooked then this is the place for you. Stop by to experience the love, freedom, joy and acceptance in God through Jesus!

WHAT TO EXPECT
DO I HAVE TO GIVE MONEY WHEN I VISIT?
You are never obligated to give. If you are new to ONE, please enjoy the music and let the basket pass unless you would like to give. We hope that as people get involved with our church, they are led to be generous in regularly giving. Click on our giving page to learn about the different ways you can give.
WHAT DO YOU HAVE FOR MY CHILDREN AND STUDENTS?
Kids Life serves children birth through grade 5 during our service. When you arrive you will check in your kids and kids 1st - 5th grade will be brought into the main service during our worship experience. After worship they will be dismissed to go to their Kids Life class.
Student Life is for grades 6–12 and they meet in our Student Life room after the worship experience.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
From the moment you arrive to when you drive away, we hope you experience a warm and welcoming place where you can discover God and His community. You can expect warm drinks (coffee and tea) and snacks as well as a friendly greeting and helpful assistance. Our service lasts about 1 hour and 15 minutes where we sing songs and listen to a message from a pastor. We have kids programming for birth through 5th graders.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Come dressed comfortably. Some people wear shorts and t-shirts, others wear dresses and suits. We are more concerned that you come as you are than if you look your “Sunday Best”.
WHAT STYLE OF WORSHIP MUSIC CAN I EXPECT?
We would consider our music in services to be a mix of modern worship, original songs, and hymns familiar to all. We always display song lyrics on the screen so everyone can sing along. Throughout our worship service we listen and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit.
WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR A SERVICE?
We recommend that you arrive at least 10–15 minutes before service starts so you have time to get a drink (coffee, tea or water) and a snack before settling in.
If you have children and this is your first visit, you will need a few additional minutes to fill out some information to help us get to know your child better. Kids Ministry opens 15 minutes prior to service time.
WHO CAN HELP ME ANSWER MY QUESTIONS AT CHURCH?
We have many people ready to help. Stop by our Connect Table and a friendly volunteer or ministry leader can answer your questions or help you find your way.
